New Guy
Due to the increasing cost of fuel and the need for a 7 pax vehicle, I bought me a Freestyle.
Went to the dealer to look at an Explorer, but after looking at the Freestyle we thought about it overnight and did the deal.
So far, I like it alot. I still prefer the feeling of safety and security that my F150 provided, but this isn't bad.
Not a car, but not a big truck that is hard to park. Plenty of power, and lots of comfortable seating. I was amazed that I could sit in the 3rd row seats. Wouldn't want to do it for an 8 hour drive, but for around town it's not bad.
The stylling is good. Looks like a Ford.
I like the transmission also. Very smooth. A bigger v6 would be nice. Maybe something along the 4.0 range with more torque.
Ride is good. But it's not the ride of my F150 Supercrew. And not as quiet. But still nice.
I like the idea of 3 zones for the A/C controls. Very nice.
That's it for now. New guy here just checking in. Looks like we don't have to many of these Freestyles running around.
Aren't we special?
