Exclamation 2011 Fusion HELP!

I have a 2011 Ford Fusion, this morning as i was driving to work I started to accelerate just over 1200 RPM and i heard what sounded like "heavy rain" on the roof of my car, but it is not raining. The sound stops when i brake and starts up again as soon as i accelerate. I am a little worried i shouldnt be driving.. Help???

Unless someone has actually dealt with that particular problem it would probably be best to have the vehicle checked out by a competent technician. Let's see if anyone has come across that condition.

With transmissions the seals can be easily damaged with the wrong lubricants. One should only use the manufacturer's approved lubricants. What is best for a GM product is not necessarily best for a Ford or a Subaru or other manufacturer's vehicles.

It is dumb in any case to think that some guys in a garage are magically able to produce a better lubricant than the large companies that have hundreds of engineers and do many thousands of hours of testing followed by teardowns. It shows with Amsoil that produces the most effective and poorest performing motor oils on the market. But their marketing is excellent.
