2011 Fusion permanent trouble codes
Replaced radiator after minor collision, failed to bleed airlock, car ran hot on short test drive. Now posting "High Cylinder Head Temp" permanent code. Problem fixed, no damage, operating properly, but unable to clear code with scan tool. ??????? Need advice please.
First , are you sure the air is out of the system ?
To clear the codes , try removing the negative battery cable , then positive battery cable . Hold the ends / " clamps " together for a few minuets .
Noe just to be sure , go dring a cup of coffee , take out the trash and any othe errands .
Come back to the car & re-install the positive cable . Then re-install the negative cable .
Check to verify all sensors & such are connected securely .
Now , check for codes .
God bless
