2019 fUSION ACTING NUTS
I own a 2019 Fusion s 2.5l, it is out of warranty now but under 80k in miles. Was going to drive my car to my town 3 weeks ago now and on my way out of my driveway car dies. Got it to restart 2 days later and moved it back to my house. ( I live in rural area 22 miles outside of nearest town.) Currently out of work cannot have car checked by the dealership. I have forscan. I can do wrench work but the dtc stuff is another language to me I cannot seem to learn. I had battery tested found 1 cell was bad so I got a new one. As of now if I try to start the car it will do a short crank and then nothing. Cluster has a few warning lights including a wrench . I have a bad driver side CV axel I need to change but want car to be running before I change it out. After replacing the battery I made an attempt to do battery reset and it wont finish the procedure, also cannot clear the DTC codes. I'll post the scans I hope someone can help me here I have posted in many forums and even tried an online mechanic and he gave up. Checked all fuses, relays etc... thought maybe the push button start was bad but IDK might even be a bad neutral safety switch. Here are the last scan on the car. I can give VIN for TSB's if needed. I have also looked over the wire harness cannot see any problems, this is driving me crazy cause if not for the electronics in this car I'm sure I could have had this fixed by now. Just need some insight on what to look at. Also did find a bunch of trans fluid leaking but cannot find from where, was thinking about doing a drain on the fluid to see if it has gotten to low and messed up the trans, but never seen anything to indicate that the trans was getting hot or anything. Ford uses the wrench as a warning for powertrain issues but from my reading that can be 175 different meanings. Also have seen this issue posted in a lot of places but no answers or fixes posted and if it was fixed the people who posted weren't nice enough to post the fix.
