Default Brake "Christmas lights" issue, who can figure this one out!

I’ve recently been having a problem with my 2011 FORD FUSION HYBRID where a bunch of warning chimes come on at once. ABS, Brake system, Advancetrac all go off when the car is started after being off for awhile. Power braking turns off so all there is left is super jerky hydraulic braking that feels like I'm doing one leg squats. After it runs for a little I can restart the vehicle and the lights will all disappear and power braking will come back. Seems as if this only happens after a prolonged period of time without the engine running (about 8 hours or so).

I bought a scanner that can read ABS and SRS codes and downloaded Forscan so I could pull information from the computer, but while I’ve done drivetrain work before I have no idea what these codes are saying. I’m hoping it’s a wheel sensor but I’m kinda nervous about it being ABS, because I’m super broke and can’t afford that right now. Maybe someone can help me out?

THE BATTERY WAS JUST REPLACED. PROBLEM OCCURRED BOTH BEFORE AND AFTER SO THAT'S NOT THE PROBLEM, I know they're finicky on the Hybrids.

I’ve also attached a picture of the cluster when the lights go off.

Default Did you find a solution to this problem?

I am running into the same issue with my 2012 Ford Fusion Hybrid.

Unfortunately I never figured it out. The problem became less and less frequent until it eventually disappeared.

It started happening less and less, never figured it out for sure cause the problem stopped happening (been a couple years now). I think it may have had something to do with the tone rings for the ABS system and the sensors that read their rotation. They're little metal rings on the inside of the wheels, you can see little black wires that go down to the sensors when you remove the wheels. I cleaned the rings and sensors off and never had this issue again but don't know if that's what solved it because it was becoming less common by then anyways (maybe rain and snow had cleaned them over time?).

Another thing that may have made the difference is tracing and cleaning all of the grounds for the vehicle. If you scour the engine bay, unbolt the ends and then clean them that might help. Make sure your battery is newer (any loss in performance can cause issues with the hybrids) or at least have it checked and also make sure the negative cable is securely attached and it's attachment point is clean.

Using Forscan to read the codes that it throws might help too. Sorry can''t be more help.

My problem did not go away over time, it was happening more frequently, but it appears to be fixed now.

I ended up taking my vehicle to a mechanic that specializes in hybrids. They ran several diagnostics and determined that my "ABS Module" was failing. A new module cost $620. They said they had to program the module for my vehicle as well. Labor for diagnostic, replacement and programming came to $970. I do a lot of my own repairs, but I didn't feel comfortable messing with my brake module.

I had the following codes:
C0020-71
C1012-01
C0022-49
U3000-49
C0022-1D
