Disabling timed door open alarm
Hi,
I have a 2010 Fusion SE, with no bluetooth key - just the regular key. Every time I unlock the door & open it I get ~15 sec. to put the key in or the horn goes off - its horribly annoying, embarrassing,.... How does one disable that?

did the car at one time come with a remote entry fob?
gm brands do this; programming a fob and unlocking the car with the fob will disarm the alarm on gm's. Programming a fob may be another option.
