what's the REAL mileage?

I just bought a 2008 Fusion SEL AWD with 69000 miles on it. It seems to get about 14.4 MPG in New England around town. How does that compare?

I got 34.0 mpg on trip to Kansas City

My 2011 Ford Fusion SE, with the small 4-cylinder motor, got 34.0 mpg on a trip out to Kansas City, MO from Indianapolis, IN over the July 4th weekend. Now granted, I don't hotrod and try to cruise at the recommended speed limits in Indiana, Illinois, and Missery?

That was for a total of right around 1000 miles.

Mileage

I just purchased a 2013 Fusion SE, 1.6 Ecoboost. I've accumulated a little over 6,000 miles in the last 2.5 months and my average mileage is about 30.9. And unlike Brad, I kick it a little faster. Maybe average 10 over. I traded in a 2010 V6 and the little Ecoboost engine feels as peppy.
