Default 2002 Mustang GT

After taking the master cylinder and booster off of my mustang I reinstalled it but not sure if a shaft in the booster part of it is as it should be. I bled the brakes. Now when I start the car the brake lowers to the floor and locks in that position and I can't move the car. When I shut the car off it returns to its normal position. Any suggestions?
