Default 2015 Mustang Clutch Failed - ??

Hi everyone. Well apparently the 'rear' clutch on my 2015 Mustang GT (with 8k miles) has failed according to the mechanic. My car is 100% stock and has the Performance Package with the Torsen differential, which begs the question: where is the 'rear' clutch? They quoted me $1200 to fix it which includes a brand new OEM clutch, flywheel, and slave cylinder. Anyone know what items should be covered under warranty?

Thanks in advance for the help, you guys are great!!

There is a "clutch plate kit" in the rear end, part number FR3Z4947A. Other than that I am not quite sure what they are meaning by a clutch in the rear... You have a 2015 and as long as you under the mileage limit this should be covered under warranty, take it to the dealer.

Got more information, its the clutch assembly including the pressure plate that failed. My 2015 Mustang has 8k miles on it, and the dealership said its not covered under warranty.

They must have determined that the damage was caused by abnormal driving conditions. How do you drive?

Damage wasn't caused by "15mustang"...Read his original post from last year, it just keeps getting worse.

Personally, I feel that Ford won't step up because they know that the Dealers employee(s) trashed the vehicle and the Dealer won't step up because they don't want to foot the bill for something their employee(s) damaged.

Oh wow, I did not know that. This sounds like an awful situation, I am sorry that you're having to go through it.
