Ok so my car starts cranks and everything then i stop at store or somthing then it does nothing like no power to the starter or the switch then like 5 minutes later starts right up was running fine before i changed trans last week i dont have a clue. What im askin is it the starter switch. Or solenoid

 

check the battery terminals to be sure they are clean and tight ! the cables on the battery might be only making contact part of the time !
