My 97 GT when it is first starting up in the morning will make a howling noise and die when I stop at the mailbox on my way to work in the morning. It starts right back up and runs fine. When it warms up it runs fine. ANy one have any ideas?

 

If it has a hard time running under cold idle conditions I would try cleaning the idle air control (IAC) first to see if that helps.
