Hey so I was trying to figure out if I could take a 4.6L crown vic police interceptor 2008 motor and PCM and swap the 5.0L ho engine in my 1995 mustang. I do not understand wiring so that specifically would be great help but I also need to know what's different and what I would have to change out. Thanks for any help I can get.

 

Especially since you are not VERY familiar with wiring I would not recommend doing that.
Not that it can't be done, but you are dealing with two different animals meaning the OBD systems.
Maybe with a lot of $$$ and very experienced assistance it could be done.
Suggest you do some homework and get some idea of how the different systems work and who knows !

Vehicle manufacturers make changes from year to year and even mid years years and there would be so many things to verify..
Let's see if anyone has done it .
