OK, my Comp Orange GT is suffering from a bad case of fade. All the plastic? has faded to a lighter color of orange. My dealer said it was no problemto repaint til he checked my milage. Warranty on paint is 3 yrs or 36,000 miles, too bad. My question, of course was , "What does milage have to do with fading paint?" It coulda set still for 3 years and still faded. Kinda ignorant answer on his part. Anyway, I'll get it fixed myself and then wait for the other 4500 comp orange Mustangs to complain and hope we get a recall. This was a problem in the 70's for Pontiac and Corvettes, but I thought technology had improved in the past 30 years.

Unfortunatley that is how warranties are. Miles driven or years. If you got that many miles say 6 months after you bought it, they still would not do warranty work.

As the phrase goes, "They screw you at the drive thru".

Yeah it's crappy, but that's how they do it.
