Default 302 short water pump pulley

Hello all and thank you for having me in you forum.

I am working on installing a 302 into my 94 ford ranger and i have read that ford motor ports offers a short water pump and a special timeing chain cover.

My question is does this actually change the location of the belt or just the nose of the water pump. if it changes the location of the belt what would you do with the PS, AC, Alternator. etc.

I have also seen some where that this was stock on some mustangs. Would the parts be stock for some year that i could buy and save some money on the Motorsports parts.

TKS for the help

The pully setup your talking about would be from a 94-95 mustang. I don't lnow if the pully location is shorter.

what year is the engine that you're installing and how much clearance do you have for your radiator and fan. I've seen where people have put in electric fans in place of the stock ones
