just drove my (used) ford ranger home a week ago. on the way home the vehicle was acting like the trany/cats were bad. so (i live in a free state) so i pulled the cats off, put straite pipes on. still has looooong shifting and little power. Q. do i need to flush fluid out of trany. idal run is fine when i put a load or shift into gear. hezitation, no clunk. but as i tool around it takes forever to shift, any help out there. trany is a rebuild 2010?

 

Ford ranger offered an off road flavored high rider package and its better to flush fluid out of the trany just it was not in running condition for so many days.
