Lightbulb 1995 Ranger timing question (please help!!)

3 questions, what tool should i use to remove the harmonic balancer ie(the crankshaft pully)? does the camshaft and crankshaft rotate evenly; menaing, does the camshaft rotate 360 degrees as the crankshaft rotate 360 degrees or is their 2 camshaft revolutions to every 1 crankshaft revolution? and do i need to align the oil pump sprocket when i set the timing?
Thanks: Steve

First as you know you'll have to remove the center bolt on the Balancer, I did'nt have air tools and could'nt get that bolt loose, I wraped a chain around the balancer and used a 1/2 " breaker bar with a steel pipe on the end of that and it would'nt move, even sprayed pentrating oil for a month before on the nut and also applied heat. I have a 91 ranger 2.3. Then you can rent the balancer puller from Auto zone, $25.00 deposit you get back when returned, no rent charge. When you put back on, Don't hammer on, if you have a Center bolt on the balancer that will push it back on so you don't damage the oil seal behind the balancer. Do not allow the balancer to go counter clockwise on cars with over head cams, can cause damage. You may hear some ticking when you first start up, this cleared up after a few minutes of running on mine. Sorry I don't have any answers for your other Questions, I never got to replace my timing belt and it did'nt break yet.
