Default 2006 Ranger runs rough in park

Hello everyone,

I have a 2006 3l v6 ranger and it has 30,000 miles on it. I bought it used and everthing seemed fine but I noticed if I sit in park and rev the enginge to 3000 or above rpm it starts to bog down. This hasnt been a problem until it died on the highway one day and I had to have it towed back home. The next morning I replaced the spark plugs thinking maybe that would help and it started right up. The engine is still running rough above 3000 rpm in park what do you think this could be? Also the mileage isnt that great its abou 13 to 15 ever since I bought it

Thanks
