Default 91 ranger 4.0L v-6 plugs -replace??

how on the earth does FORD expect people to change their own spark plugs when you cant even see the plug wires sticking out of the head on the passenger side --any if special tools -double jointed arms + fingers - are needed or is this usually simple maintenence project a dealer only task?? HELP I also have a 94 explorer with 4.0L v-6 same problem..

I suspect their purpose was to encourage you to take it to the dealer but it can be done. Fortunately they don't require new plugs often if you install the platinums. I did mine with nothing more than normal socket, extensions, universal and rachet. It takes some patience and the removal of some accessories to make it easier but its doable.
