94 4.0 ranger cranks but won't start
I got a 94" Ranger xlt 4x4 4.0 engine that has been running fine every day! I went to dinner one evening at a restrant, and when i went to start the truck, it just cranks over good but won't start, like a spark or fuel issue, its still there!
Anyone know a Quick check to do on this issue before thy have it Towed away? Help!!!!!

Maybe its the fuel pump, have some one try and start the car while you bang on the part of the tank closest to the fuel pump. but use a rubber hammer or other soft mallet. good luck w/ that

You need to see if your getting spark to the plugs , then move to the fuel system. You could have a faulty fuel relay , blown fuse etc .
If you think its a fuel problem, you can get a squirt bottle an spray gas in the throttle plate, an see if it trys an start ,
Or hold a rag with gas on it up to the intake -just dont let it suck the rag in the motor or bad things will occur
On top of the fuel rail is a valve stem just like on your vechile tire, if you remove the cap an cycle the key on an off several times , an then depress the valve core in the center you should get a good spray of fuel outta it. So dont be smoking or have your face close to it, if you get a good spray its probaly not the fuel system,
Let us know what you find
