i gotta 1999 Ford Ranger.. 4.0 V6 Auto trans. im having a problem with my truck wanting to stall on me. ill be driving and when i go to stop at a light i get a loud hum (which sounds like its comin from my air filter) then my rpms will drop down and it will wanna stall out if i dont give it some gas. i was thinkin maybe my air filter had something to do with it so i changed that but it made no difference. Andybody have any ideas thatd be great! thanks!!

 

needs an iac valve. the humming noise is the iac valve.
