Default 99 Ranger PVH 4x4 system

I've been diagnosing a' failure to engage ' problem with my hubs. I decided that I do not like having this feature anyway, and am opting for manual locking hubs...easy enough. My question though is 'do i need to do anything with the pvhsolenoid system? Would appreciate any input here!

I had the same problem got my manual lockout at tellico 4x4 .All i did was put them on and go haven had any problem. but before you do that check your hub bearings thats why mine quit working replaced both at the same time. I bought the bearings at am-autopart.com best deal i could find
