Default buying a 99 ranger?

Hello I am thinking of buying a 99 ranger the truck in very good condition and has 93K miles it is an auto 4x4 with a 4.0 V6 and i was wondering about recalls and things to look for. i have never owned a ranger and i am buying this one for my 17 year old son so any info will be great help. thanks

The best thing you can do is replace the lockouts with manuals i got mine from tellico 4x4.com. if maint has been kept up its a pretty good truck .just not very fuel efficent
