i ordered a so called chip from e bay and it was a scam!! all it is, is a 2 inch long thin wire with a resistor in the middle of it that you stick in your IAT sensor. which does nothing. so if your thinkin about it dont buy one and if you do i wish you better luck than i had. just remember MORE SPEED COSTS MONEY!!!!!!! NOT $2.00

Yea. I sorta remember reading somewhere about that , putting a resistor in that circuit , It's suppose to send a SET { FALSE } Signal to the puther, so you get more power , As the sensor is suppose to send a signal to the puther to adjust the fuel rate time on an off, which of course vary's due to your driving condition.... Theres also a resistor trio you can put in to send a false signal to the puther to bypass the EGR, If I run across it I'll shoot the info to you ,, It sure seems like everybody wants to be a PUTHER WIZARD these days !!!!

gear ratios, its all a mater of what you want to do with her. Fast off the line, upper end, cuise, or tow??
What you want is more HP and torque, right

I guess it all depends on how deep your pockets are ,, with a supercharger / blower , an a NOX kit , Iam you can get it rolling !!!!!,,,,, On the other side of the coin I suppose you get a 4.0 L , an that would be a big improvement over it too , an not quite as bizzare

No, I think 4.0L V6 is as big as they come. I've seen 8cyl. Rangers all mods.
