Default Drive belt issues

Hi everyone! I have a 2001 Ranger with a 3.0 engine. It has 57,000 miles on it. At about 32,000 miles the drive belt was worn out. Sunday evening the belt broke! Any suggestions on what could be causing this problem.
Thanks!

Default RE: Drive belt issues

Is your idler pully turning OK or worn out? Is your A/C clutch free-wheeling OK when not engaged? Does your alternator spin freely? Need to check to ensure all items turn freely and aligned properly.
