I have a 97 ford ranger 4x4 with the 4.0 engine. The check engine light is on and when you hook it up to a the code reader it says that there is a shifting problem shifting from 2nd to 3rd but I do not feel any problem it actually shifts fine. I was wondering if there is something that may cause this like a sensor or anything?
