Default Ford Ranger 1990

1990 ford ranger 4 cylinder engine. about 105, 000 miles. My oil pressure gauge is dead and i have no oil light. It seems the oil to not pumping to the top of the engine.
Oil pump? Where is sensors connected to engine? None of my engine drawings or pictures shows. Any suggestions on what to check welcome. Thank You

2.3 oil sender...

You can check it here with a mechanical gauge if needed.. Sender failures are fairly common.. A no oil pressure condition would bleed/pump out thehydraulic lifters.. Lots ofnoise..
