Fuse box Diagram, Low range wont work?
Hey, I just bought my first 4x4 truck. Its a 94 Ranger Ex-cab, 4.0 V6, 4speed with OD, 3" body lift on 33"S, Diamond plate tool box and chrome bedrails. Paid 3300 OTD at a car lot. The only thing is.... Under my dash there are some fuses missing and I wanted to know what they are. Also When I try to put my truck in Low range.Nothing happens. I thought it may be a diffrent fuse from the 4x4 cause that works. and then under my truck, by the front diffrential there is a yellow wire that has been cut, and just has a wing nut on it. I was thinking maybe there is mud in that and stopped a good connection.. Could that be why my Low range isnt working? Thanks

i dont know. try hookin the wire up and see what happens. is your four wheel on the floor or on the dash? i would put all the fuses that were in there at one time in there so that maybe you can get someting to work just put the right kind of fuses in there and not to big of ones.

there is no panel door. the fuse box is just under my dash, open. And I have searched sense two days before buying the truck to try and find a diagram and have not found one yet. was hoping this site would help but so far no dice

www.fleet.ford.com
If you go here, you can download the PDF file of teh manual for yoru truck. That should tell you the fuse location, what fuse, and what they are for.

Sorry, my haynes manual only goes up to 92 I believe. The haynes repair manual cost about $15 at pepboys. Might want to invest in one now that you have the truck and if you prefer to do your own work.
