The best I have ever gotten was 24 MPG. I usually get between 20 and 22 mpg, but my ranger is a 93 2 wd with 150,000 miles. I drive a mixture of highway and city traffic.

i have a '97 2wd that used to get about 22 mpg with stock tires(225R14) and exaust. then i put on a 4" suspension lift and 31x10.5x15 and got about 17 mpg. installed dynomax catback system and k&n airfilter i get about 25-27 mpg now
big difference i went from 250 miles per tank to 375 per tank after new exaust!

later
