My question is how? Unless you have done a chip mod/replacement the trucks (2002 models at least) are governed at 95mph by the ECM (time advance is stop). Yes you can go faster but it takes along distance to do it.

134 in my 94 ranger.. took about a 10 mile stretch tho.. =P wasnt clocked but was paced.. that dps officer wasnt too happy cuz the cop cars govern at 130 so i was slowly losing him.. =) bet he felt a little dumb.. didnt even notice he was behind me until i passed my cousin and he called me to tell me i was being chased.. lol.. that was a lil more than a $300 dollar fine tho.. got my truck impounded and everything.. =( but hey it was fun as hell and i would do it again (except for the cop part) my gearing is a lil messed up tho.. considering i have a stock tranny and gearing and 33" mickeys.. lol 95mph in 3rd gear at 5500rpm

no clue my 94 stops at 85 but ive had it bouncing off of neutral racing a mustang gt, mine aint stock though. i got smoked out of the whole by the stang, it was a 2003 gt with sick soundin pipes once we hit 85 he stopped pullin away, i heard him downshift and i stuffed the ole gal and the stang wouldnt pull away and we were cruisin at about neutral at this point.http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/ph...p;id=672330530 thats a shot of the blower if it works

2002 ranger 4.0 even running many miles still only 91 mph. 17 miles per gallon best I have gotten. That is why I'm here looking at chips and I sure am confused. Happy New Year!

115 mph in a 77 Ranger f100, Supercab and 8 foot bed, got half way between where the speedo stops and 0, almost like pointing straight down. Nothing like passing a mustang with a 95 mph speed limiter in a 77 tugboat.
