Default M5R1 swapping
[align=left]I have a 95 2.3 Ranger with the M5R1 and need to know if I can use a M5R1 from a 2000 2.5 Ranger? I believe they are the same except for the tail housing, one for electric speedo and one for cable. Any help about this swap will be greatly appreciated!!!

If overdrive is involved - don't touch it. Take it to a shop. The OD spring when released can kill without the proper removal tool.
