Misfire

Default Misfire

My 02 2.3l ranger has a misfire on cyl 2 & 4 and I cant figure out what it is, I've changed the plugs and coil like ford told me to do when i paid them $100 to tell me what was wrong but it didnt change anything. Please help!

Was any work or anything done to the engine prior to the cylinder #2 & 4 MISFIRE occuring?

Were both coils replaced? Were all 8 spark plugs replaced? What about plug wires? You may have a couple of bad wires. I would try rolling the plug wires to different cylinders to see if the problem moves. May also be a couple of dirty fuel injectors.
