Default need ideas

i need ideas for my 83. wanting to do a lift (probably 6 inches). and set it up on some good 35's. i have a 2.8 v6 with a c-5 tranny in it. engine needs some work but not much past a normal overhaul. tranny is good with exception of a minimal slip coming out of 2nd. Its an automatic. planning on having tranny rebuilt when i do the engine. also trying to find aftermarket bumpers. haven't been able to find much. did find a lift from skyjacker that goes 6" but no one else. haven't been able to find anything for engine. i've seen some articles on-line where guys would change the intake and carb, but can't find the parts to do this if i so decide. i'm still in the planning stages with this truck, it's my daily driver so i don't want to go to huge. have to stay within the laws of pa. any ideas and places to ghet things would be a great help.

The 83 Rangers are extremely tough. You may want to look into LMC to find some of the parts. They often carry parts that others never think of. If you need any body panels or dress ups- they are there too.

there is body lifts available too, most people that go with a 6" lift usually get the 3" body lift, but to do the body lift you have to extend the drive shaft a little bit, but that's it, and you'll have to get longer brake hoses and what not, other than that, it shouldn't be that bad
