i got my new exhaust put on the other day and it sounds bad ***..... i had people telling me it sounds like a V8 when its only a 3.0 V6.

i put a high out put muffler (generic brand i was told of a flow master) and 2 3/4 pipe.


once i get pics a video i will post it.

hell yeah! i just put a gibson single pipe performance exhaust on my 98 2.5L I4 and it sounds sweeeeet! who would have thought that a 4banger could sound so good.

i can feel a little bit from it, when i first got it, it ran alot smoother and it was a little more snappy shall we say. but i put a k&n on it and it livened up even more. if you guys want i will find out what the definate name of the muffler i have on it and ill let you guys know.

 

did you have just the muffler put on, or did you have custom pipe bending done on that
?

 

the pipe is new because the guy that put the muffler on f-ed it up. but yah its not very big but i got it for free.

I have a 2chamber flowmaster on my 2.9, I had someone ask if I put a 5.0 in it. Sounds really good!
