Default Option on Engine Swap

Would I be better off putting a 350 Chevrolet w/350 turbo transmission in a 1990 Ranger, 2WD instead of a 302 Ford w/C4 transmission?

1 Thats a sin
2 Be alt more work putting in a chev motor than a ford.
3 Why would you wnat to put in that big of a motor? If you want something with that much power just go get a F150 or a chevey version which is a 1500 or something like that i think.

I don't think it's a sin...people have been swapping motors in vehicles for years and if it's going to be more work, I need to know what I'm up against.

You're right about getting a larger truck, but since I already own two with 454's, I want to take a truck that someone gave me and use one of the two motors and transmissions I already have, to make a little flatbed that I can use on my farm.
