ok.....

i feel dumb for asking this but i am curious think what you might but i would like to know.


ok my ranger has a limited slip diff. and i was wondering if there is anyway to get something like posi or posi itself. let me know.

They are the same thing. I believe Posi Traction is what GM called it back in the 50's

i'm pretty sure you can find a posi differential somewhere or a kit at that. what i did on mine which was probably the best thing i ever did was take the front end apart and welded up the spider gears, i now have a posi front end, i know i'm risking it with that because it it ALOT more strain on the drive train but i'm sure it can hold up, but its an idea, i can go through a helluva alot more mud and get more places since i did that, for the rear end i'd say try to find a limited slip so the tire wear will still be good on the back tires
