Default Radio

About a year ago....had ashtray out and waiting in drive-thru line at Taco bell, pushed ashtray in and ...poof...bye-bye radio.

How do I get the face plate off so I can pull radio out and look at wiring?

Yeah, those tools dont cost very much. When you put them in there, pull towards the doors a little bit and pull back and the radio will come right out.

no need for any special tool to remove the factory radio. Don't waste your money, no matter how little it is. All you need is and old fashioned wire hanger from your closet. Cut 4 pieces approx. 4 inches long. stick the pieces into the 4 holes on you radio and spread them apart slightly while pulling out towards you. Your radio will come right out. All you are doing is putting pressure on 4 the clips that hold the radio in. If it seems to stick on on side, simply put a little more pressure. Just remember, you want to push the clips in towards the radio, so push the 4 hanger pieces out away from the radio.
