Ranger, 2.3L- where's the ICM

Check engine light on, diagnostic read misfire. Did the tune up, replace coil pack and light still on!! shouldI attempt to replace ignition control module?

Dumb question, but did you reset the computer (ie disconnect the battery cable)? If you did check the haynes or chilton manuals for the resistance measurements specsfor the coils andtest yourcoil.
