Is there a search of prior postings somewhere I could not find it.

Anyway how the heck does one remove the dome light cover from a 1999 Ranger?

I squeezed twisted and pulled no no avail.

I stuck a flat screwdriver in there and blew the fuse and God knows what else (lost my four wheel drive nd power windows but the dome light is off).

Somebody please help before I do more damage.

These are not fun. A small screwdriver, carefully inserted between the lense and lamp and twist. They are a compression fit, held together by plastic ears.

 

Like posted earlier put a small pick tool between the cover and the chrome, but be careful not to go in to far because you will cause damage because the exposed screw carry voltage.
