Default Rim offset for lowered ranger

I have a 95' Ranger splash which i plan on lowering in the near future (summer), but am looking at getting new rims withen the next month. I plan on getting 18" rims and was just wondering what kind of offset i will need so that i will not rub. I dont want to rub in the front while turning, and dont want the tire hitting the body if the suspension gets bottomed out for some reason (kind of the same thing as airbags, how the tire tucks into the wheel well). Any help will be appriciated.

Thanks,
Brian
