RE: shocks

The back simply just unbolt.[hr]But the front's are a little harder.[hr]On the front the shock rod may want to spin when you are trying to dissasembell them you may want to grip this rod with vise grip's when taking off the top's of the front shock's.

RE: shocks

The only problem that I ran into when replacing the shocks on my ranger were the bolts on the radius arms (front shocks). They were rusted on good, so when I tried to un-bolt them, the studs broke off. The fix was to torch out the old stud and stick a bolt all the way thru, securing it with a nut against the radius arm, and then sliding the shock over the bolt and securing it with another nut. The rear shocks were a piece of cake. Hope that made sense.
