I just got my first truck its a 96 ranger 2wd. and was wondering besides intake and exhaust what are some other simple mods that i can do to it.

 

Motor/tranny?

A chip or tuner is a simple way off adding power. Throttle body spacers are supposed to add power but I havent heard anything good about them. Better spark plugs/ wires and coil will help. Higher flowing fuel injectors, fuel filter. You could always put NO2 for a little extra kick of power on demand. Depending on the size motor you have, and how much extra power you want, you could find a turbo or SC kit.

 

another thing if you want more speed lessen the weight of the truck take out all uneccessary stuff in the truck.

 

Spare tire, and even the passenger seat, if you wana look like a ricer.

 

Throttle body spacers and a chip sound like the my best bet for my budget but what web sites would be best to look for these add ons.
