Default Simple Question

Hello all,

Trying to change the front breaks on my 1994 ford ranger. I have changed brakes on other vehicle but not sure about this one. Rather then have the two "pins" holding the caliper in place like the one I have worked on prior, the Ford has something other then two pins and I am not sure how to loosen them Any help in getting the these two "items" loose wouold be very helpful

Thanks
Kyle

Default RE: Simple Question

Two sets of bolts. Two small bolts(13mm head) that hold the caliper to the caliper anchor. The other bolts are 15mm which hold the caliper anchor to the hub. Once the caliper and anchor are removed, you'll be able to get the rotor off, either slide off if 4x4, or the bearing nut if it's 4x2.
