Default RE: squeaky brakes

just a thought! my truck had a similar problem some time ago! the rotors were good and the brakes were good but i changed them anyway and the problem still persisted. so upon closer examination i found that the low brakes metal strip indicator ( which made it sqeal when i used the brakes) was jamed against the caliper and every time i hit the brakes this strip would also make contact making noise. so with pair of pliers i bent it back some so it would be off the rotor and problem went away.
