Default Tire Question

This is probably pretty easy for some... What would cause an uneven wear pattern on the inside of both front tires? They look like a mountain scape and are starting to make a good thumping shound @ low speeds. I also can hear a light banging at low speeds going over small bumps. I also get some bucking on really bumpy roads. Kinda like I'm busting a bronc. I've been driving trucks for a lot of years and this isn't your usual "Truck Ride" type bucking.

Default RE: Tire Question

eccessive tow out[not likely] or eccessive negative camber[caused by worn springs or lower balljoints typically] if it were twin I-beam it would commonly be lower ball joints, but the '98 has control arms , doesn't it?

i say give the whole front end a tune up, as in shocks, springs, etc. and take it to and alignment shop, they will be able to help you out
