Default Torque Spec for Front Wheel Bushings on 93

I'm looking for the correct torque specs for the front wheel bushings on a '93 Ranger ext. We put new ones in April and the Ranger sat in a barn all summer and now the mechanic is telling me there is a 1/2 inch of play when he tugs on the wheel. I'm thinking we didn't horse the buggers down enough back in April.

Thanks...

For 2WD the adjustment is: (1) torque adjusting nuts 17 to 25 foot lbs. (2) back the nut off 1/2 turn, (3) tourqe 18-20 inch lbs. (4) recheck the lug nut torque after 500 miles.

Consider purchasing a Haynes Ranger manual, it is a small investment.
