Default Transmission shift Problem

2000 Ranger XLT, Auto w/47k miles. Vehicle starts out with a slight delayed shift between 1st and 2nd gear. eventually popping out of overdrive. When I start the vehicle and turn off overdrive, It drives a little better, but that shift between 1st and 2nd delays again and a harsh shift happens and the overdrive light flashes. Had the transmission fluid changed and the filter was supposed to be changed with that. Fluid I was told was clean. Was told it could be:
1) Vacuum hose leak
2) Electronic Shift Control Module
3) Some of the bands in the tranny
4) Faulty Vacuum Diaphram in tranny (but book says this applies to 94/95 Ranger)

Anyone have any ideas

I had about the same experiance with a Contor awhile back it turned out to be the electronics,we had to have diagnostics run on it sensor in the trans was the problem. I'd take it in if it was mine. It only cost about $200.00 to have fixed,no problems since.
