I have a 1994 Taurus 3.0L. THe trans has a delayed shift at around 20-25 MPH under medium accelerator pressure. It winds out while the rpm's seem to be steady then shifts. The fluid is full and looks and smells clean.
I tried disconnecting the battery for about a 1/2 hour to reset the computer, but still get the same thing.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same kinda issue with my 1990....and mine happens between first and second gear from medium to heavy throttle....almost like it's slipping, and it vibrates a little while shifting too. I'm new here, and I hope someone replies to this thread soner or later because I'm curious to know the answer myself.
