Default what appears to be a common clutch problem

Ok so I just bought a '97 with about 100,000 miles on it. It's a 5 spd., 4 cyl. and in good shape. However, every once inawhile (maybe 1 out of every 15 times) it will grind if I try to put it into reverse or it will be slow to let me put it into first. I took it back and they said the clutch had some "chatter" but it was okay. I was reading around and it seems like this is a common issue with a lot of Fords. Should I take it back again or just live with it because they probably won't do anything about it? Thanks!

sounds like the synchromesh is a little wore out in those gears, its not that big of a deal, the synchromesh gears might be just a little bent also, just take it easy puttin it into reverse and first
