I’m looking to buy a used Ranger that’s a Manual.
Will probably be a daily driver.
I know there’s good and bad years out there.
Does anyone have a fairly good background with them and have any info to share? What to avoid buying.
I’ve heard there’s weak brake issues but that doesn’t seem that bad.

 

You could ran VIN lookup check before you buy. I ran mine on https://vinnumber.net/makes/ford/ranger/ and the „good deal“ appeared to have more problems, than bad year. In my case there was major accident and the truck was hit in the front wheel area.
