Hi, newbie here trying to help my son with a 2007 Sport Trac driver side door lock actuator problem. The actuator stopped working and he has to use key.

Ordered a replacement part OEM 6L2Z78218A43AA but it does not fit and is slightly different from the one that is in there now.

All we can find is the OEM above or related older OEM numbers that are the same as above.

Any help, greatly appreciated. There is a little tit sticking out in the middle above the round circle in the picture than his does not have

 

Disregard, problem solved. Just had to leave a clip on the door and it fits.
